Donating to Firecracker

Since its inception, the L.A. Chinatown Firecracker Run Committee, Inc. (LACFRC) has contributed over $400,000 to local elementray schools and non-profit community organizations providing service and programes to benefit the community.

Event proceeds and donations benefit the beneficiaries of our event activities: Need2Read, Run/Don't Walk and non-profit community organizations include Alpine Recreation, Alpine Striders, Asian American Tutorial, Central City Action Committee, Chinese Historical Society of S California, Chinatown Senior Citizens Service Center, Chinese Confucius School, Friends of the Chinatown Library, LA Chinatown Teen Post, Chinatown Service Center and Farmdale Elementary School.
